The Student Council serves as the voice of the student body, fostering leadership, integrity, and civic responsibility. Our elected representatives work collaboratively with school administration to shape a vibrant and inclusive school environment.

Student Council Executive Board
School Head Captain
Serves as the chief representative of the student body; presides over all council meetings, coordinates with school administration, and leads major school events and assemblies.
Vice Head Captain
Assists the Head Captain in all duties; oversees cultural and co-curricular committee heads; assumes presidential responsibilities in the Head Captain's absence.
Council Secretary
Maintains official council records, meeting minutes, and all documentation. Communicates agendas, schedules, and official notices to council members and the student body.
Council Treasurer
Manages council budget, fundraising initiatives, and financial records. Ensures transparent allocation of funds for student activities, charity drives, and school improvement projects.

Discipline & Attendance Committee
Ensures campus decorum, monitors student attendance punctuality, and upholds school code of conduct standards across all grades.
Eco & Campus Beautification
Leads green campus initiatives, tree plantation drives, waste segregation campaigns, and maintains campus garden and cleanliness standards.
Cultural & Events Committee
Organizes annual day celebrations, festival events, talent showcases, inter-house competitions, and manages all cultural co-curricular activities.
Community Service & Outreach
Coordinates charity drives, social awareness campaigns, blood donation camps, and student volunteer programs for community welfare.
Academic & Science Forums

Additional Council Information & Announcements
Student Council
Mount Carmel School , Baghmugalia, Bhopal is a recognized unaided Christian minority institution founded in the year 1999, affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination , New Delhi (School Code Mp023). The School prepares its students for the ICSE and the ISC Examination at X and XII Level respectively.
- School diary is to be brought to school daily without fail.
- Students should come to school in complete school uniform, on all school days ( including PTM).
- Punctuality a must and late comers will be suitably checked with corrective measures.
- No mobile phone is to be brought to school for what so ever reason. The set will be confiscated and very strict action will be taken against the user. The set will be returned only at the end of the
session . - Students are discouraged to come to school by private vans using gas kits or over loaded.
- 85 % attendance is a must for every student.
- A pupil who uses unfair means during examinations will be given zero in the subject and repetition of the same shall lead to dismissal.
- Parents / guardians can meet the principal in her office from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. on all school
working days. - Parents / guardians should meet teachers only on PTM or with appointment in special cases.
- It is compulsory for all students to participate in sports, games and co-curricular activities of
the school . - In case of accidents, school will provide only first aid; other related expenses will be borne by
Parents / guardians.
